Question:
I’m currently about to move back home but my problem is I’ve heard it places a lot of strain on my vehicle to tow a trailer. But is it really out of the question or if I take it easy can I get away with it? Its currently my cheapest option in order to get my studio apartment worth of stuff back home. I have the Elantra hatchback GT

I looked up the towing capacity of your 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback online and it appears to have a 750 lb towing capacity. Which if you can stay under that you'd be totally fine. The Curt hitch part # C11400 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your vehicle and would be a great option. It has more capacity than you'd need, but it would still work well to tow up to 750 lbs.
For trailer wiring you'd then want the part # C59236 which is a confirmed fit and would work well. For a ball mount you'd then want the part # C45520 and for hitch balls part # C40018 for a 2 inch ball or part # C40001 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
