What is the Mounting Hole Spacing for MaxxAir MaxxFans and Fan-Tastic Roof Vents

Question:

DEAR ETRAILER EXPERTS: IS THE SCREW HOLE PATTERN OF THE MAXX AIR MAX FAN # MA00-06200K THE SAME AS THE FANTASTIC VENT # FV801250? IS IT CORRECT TO ASSUME THAT THE SCREW HOLE PATTERNS OF THE OLD FANTASTIC VENTS THE SAME AS THE NEWER FANTASTIC VENTS? I HAVE AN OLD FANTASTIC ROOF VENT ON MY OLD FORD VAN WITH THE OLD SCREW HOLES DRILLED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER. I WAS HOPING TO FIND DOWNLOADABLE TEMPLATES FOR COMPARISON BUT NONE EXIST. DUE TO THE CONDITION OF MY ROOF AND THE POOR INSTALLATION BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER, I ALREADY KNOW IN ADVANCE ITS GOING TO BE ONE HECK OF A PROJECT. IM JUST LOOKING OVER MY OPTIONS. The mounting holes on the MaxxAir MaxxFan Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-06200K are spaced 4 inches apart on center. On the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV801250 the mounting holes are spaced 3-3/4 inches apart on center. With this information you will be able to tell if either hole spacing will work for you. As for the old Fan-Tastic vent models I am not aware of the hole spacing.

We recommend using silicone, # 0160297, when installing roof vents.
