Recommended Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Cover for a 2019 Grand Design
Published 08/24/2018 >
Question:
I have a 2019 Grand Design with the AirExcel Maxxfan with remote and rain sensor and EZ-Clip tabs on the roof. When using the remote to operate the fan, the lid opens up all the way to about 12.5inch above the roof. What roof cover can I use that will be tall enough?

To my knowledge, they do not make an enclosed roof vent cover that will allow your vent to open up completely. However, we do have the MaxxAir II RV and Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Cover part # MA76JR that will allow your roof vent to open about 3/4" of the way. If the roof vent you have is automatic then it should have a built-in stop that would prevent the two covers from coming into contact with one another.
