2012 Land Rover Range Rover HSE Brake Controller Install Port Location

Question:
Hi, I’m trying to put a brake controller on the subject. It has factory wiring for the hitch and 4/7-way connector. I cannot seem to locate where the wiring harness is on this vehicle. I’ve removed panels by the center console and also by the brake but don’t see it as would exist on your LR4 example images albeit a different model than mine. Given that you sell the ford-Oem, compatible cable I assume the controller harness must exist. Any ideas on location? Alternatively I could use the RF approach but I’m not certain if the Rover supplies power. Any advice is much appreciated.

You will be looking for a 6-prong gray rectangular plug near the steering column to use the install harness part # 3035-P to install the Prodigy P2 brake controller you referenced part # 90885. If you still can't find it let me know and I'll do so more digging. Worst case scenario though you'd have to hardwire in the brake controller with the kit part # 5506.
