How to Reset the Combination on the Master Lock Safe Space Portable Storage Box # ML5900D

Question:

Fortunately im able to get inside the safe because the last time i used it, it seems i opened it but didnt close it and in between then and now, which has been a few years, the combination numbers were moved around im assuming someone just bored and fiddling with it since there was nothing in it but either way.....i now have an open safe and a forgotten password - anyway to change it since the gray lever u need to push over while changing password wont budge.

Since your Master Lock Safe Space Portable Storage Box # ML5900D is opened you actually have access to the reset button. If you check out the picture I attached you can see the highlighted reset button. simply push this to the right while you set a new combination.

I recommend writing the combination down and keeping it in a place that you'll remember in case it is shut and you forget the combination.
