Question:
I just moved to Anchorage, Alaska and will more than likely only be here for 4 winters. What recommendation do you all make to heater my engine? A frost plug heater, silicone pads, or something else?

Expert Reply:
The most effective style of block heater available for your 2015 Ford Focus will be a frost plug style like the part # KH11409 which is a confirmed fit. For as cold as Alaska gets this would be highly recommended for your situation!
