What Size Tailgate Can Be Used with the Rackem Double Barrel Trailer Tailgate Assist

Question:

My tailgate size is 7 feet long and 4 feet high ,meshed steel.Will this unit work ?

In order to determine if the Rack'em Double Barrel Trailer Tailgate Assist, # RA-27C, will work with your trailer, you will need to measure the height and length of the side rails. This unit will work on trailer side rails that are 10 to 15 inches tall. It will require a rail that is at least 53 inches long since the center to center mounting hole length is 52-1/2 inches and the unit is 54 inches long overall.
