Can a Power Awning be Manually Operated on a 2011 Keystone Alpine
Published 07/31/2018 >
Question:
I have a 2011 Keystone Alpine with a power awning. The motor burned out and I have purchased a new motor. How do I manually open the awning part way to be able to install the new motor?

If you have a Solera awning then there is actually a manual override option. Remove the plug on the side of the awning head (see attached photo) and you can use a power drill to operate the awning.
If you have a different awning I would imagine that there is a similar manual override near the head unit.
