I just put a on off battery switch on. Will this stop my mileage from going up. And when I discount the battery I do not have to pull any fuse.thank you.

Your 2016 GMC Terrain will continue to accumulate miles when it is being flat towed even with the battery disconnected. Short of physically disabling that system (which I am not even certain how to do) there isn't anything that can be done to prevent the vehicle from accumulating miles while be flat towed.
There are fuses that will need to be pulled to flat tow your Terrain. If yours is the 4-cylinder model you can use fuse bypass # RM-76517 or if it is a V6 use # RM76511. While these bypasses are not required they do make removing or returning power to the fuse as easy as flipping a switch. The fuse that needs to be pulled or where you would install a bypass is fuse 32, the Discrete Logic Ignition Switch fuse, from the instrument panel fuse block.
