The average distance between the frog and rear bracket in this model is 21inch .what happens when the crossing bar the distance to the front and rear is 27inch and does not admit regulation to bring them closer to 21

If the compatible crossbar spread of the Sear X-Cargo Box 28-7271 does not match the crossbar spread on your vehicle then you will need to drill new holes into the box to match the crossbar spread on your vehicle assuming the crossbars cannot be moved. In order to do this you can use the Replacement Mounting Hardware part # TH05603 and the High-Performance Silicone Gasket Maker part # LT37467.
