Question:
Do you have an axle for my Loadrite 5 STarr trailer? Trailer info: model 5S-172200V

Expert Reply:
The specs for the LoadRite boat trailer model 5S-17220090T show a weight capacity of 2200-lbs. I could not find your specific trailer model number 5S-172200V on their website.
Often you can find a sticker or plate on the trailer's axle that indicates its weight rating. If you can confirm the 2200-lb axle capacity then you can refer to the linked page that displays the 60-inch and 72-inch axles we offer with this capacity. We have kits with just the idler axle such as part # T20BTR-EZ-6048 and others which include 5-on-4-1/2 idler hubs such as # 20545I-EZ-60-15.
You can refer to the linked axle diagram to see how the spring center and hub face spacing is determined. Select your replacement axle to match these dimensions and the wheel bolt pattern.
