Question:
What class do I need for the my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe to pull a tent trailer at 2200lbs??

Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, which has more than enough capacity for you to tow a 2,200 lb trailer, is the Curt # C13153 if you have the GLS or Limited Model, or # C13152 if you have the Sport model.
For wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # C56184 if you DO NOT have the tow package or # C56332 if you DO have the factory tow package. I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
