Question:

Hello, I have an old Thule Excursion with a single push key lock mechanism. It latches fine, but i am missing the key and cannot lock it. I dont see any key numbers on the lock area. Do I need to remove it to see the numbers if there are any? Is there a way to get a key for this? Ive attached a picture of the key/lock and a sticker from the inside that might help identifying this? Thanks.

The photo of your lock did not come through but we can still help.

If possible, please re-check the face of the lock for a part number reference. Usually Thule lock cores have a key code lightly stamped into the ring around the key hole, as shown in the linked photo. If you can spot this number you can order just the replacement keys. Simply add the code you find to this prefix THKEY _ _ _ _ . For the lock used in the example photo the correct key is # THKEYN030.

If the lock code is worn off then instead you can use lock/key kit # TH450200 to remove the old lock cores and install new ones. This kit include the special control key you'll need to remove the old lock and install the new ones, plus the kit has two standard keys to fit the supplied locks.
