The Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs # RM-2050-1 will allow you to tow any vehicle up to 4,250 lbs. This dolly does require the wiring connector # PK12706 to give you the full function. The 2016 Honda CR-V AWD has the continuously variable transmission also known as a single speed transmission that the manufacturer states needing to be towed on a trailer.
In theory removing the driveline would give you a disconnected rear axle that would allow dolly towing because the 2016 Honda CR-V with the FWD CVT can be towed using a tow dolly. I recommend confirming that ability with the manufacturer so you don't cause any damage to your vehicle.
