5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit for a 2018 Ram 2500 Mega Cab

Question:

I just bought a 2018 Ram 2500 Mega Cab. I have a Superglide 5th wheel hitch and I just need to find the correct rail kit for the mega cab. Is there a special rail kit or can I buy anyone that will work with a Ram 2500? Any suggestions for a rail kit?

Assuming that your SuperGlide hitch is an ISR version that fits in industry standard rails you can use any of the custom installation kits available for the 2018 Ram 2500. Reese kit # RP50054-58 is a popular option. You will not have to drill into the truck frame for installation so install time is less than on universal or semi-custom kits.

You could also use the similar B&W kit # BWRVK2602 or Curt kit # C16427-204. Again, no drilling into the frame is required.

The easiest kit to install is # RP56009-53 because all of the brackets install on the outsides of the frame rails where they are easier to reach so install time is even less compared to other custom kits.
