Can a trailer hitch be re used if it was hit from behind and pushed up into frame

No, you cannot use a trailer hitch after any type of rear collision; its structure will have been compromised and it would not be safe to use. A new hitch would need to be installed after the damage to your vehicle was repaired. If you let me know your year, make and model of vehicle I'd be happy to help you find a new, safe-to-use hitch.
