Question:
I have a boat trailer 2700 lb I believe. It has slip leaf springs. It’s 26” bolt to bolt, I am looking to replace them, can I replace them with a double eye spring ? The slip springs tend to get noisy when dry. Thanks in advance

Yes, you can replace your slipper springs with double eye springs. The Double-Eye Spring # e27SR measure 26 inches from center of spring eye to center of spring eye and would work for you; these have a 2,250 lb capacity each though you will need to find springs that match your trailer's capacity as closely as possible.
The other thing you would need is a hanger kit such as # APS3, which has 1-1/2" tall front hangers, 1-1/4" tall rear hangers, and 3-1/8" shackle straps. The correct hanger kit will depend on the hanger size you need; I've added a link to each of our single axle hanger kits for you to check out. I have also added a link to a help article on trailer suspension for you to take a look at.
