Question:

RV is 2011 Tiffin with Kwikee/Lippert 2 step. I see different step controllers. I have 4 leads to mine. Ignition, switch for hot , constant hot and magnetic switch which connects to ground. I would think all controllers operate similary. Whats the difference in controllers?

You're right, they do operate similarly, so the difference between controllers is the model of steps they work with. For example, part # LC379146 is for "pre-IMGL" step units that were manufactured from 1999 to 2005 while part # LC379604 is for Kwikee 37 and 42 Series.
