Hello, if I am mounting a external battery next to the winch, what battery requirement is needed for this winch?BDW15019

For the Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 4,400 lbs # BDW15019 the battery requirements are simply 12V and exceeding the max power draw of the winch at 340 amps. The recommended battery size from the manufacturer for maximum power is 650 Cold Cranking Amps.
Since you will be putting the battery directly next to the winch, I recommend the NOCO Battery Box with Strap # 329-HM318BKS or the Tow-Rax Battery Box - Polished Aluminum # TWSP12BP.
