Question:
My camper is a 2016 and hasn’t been pulled but maybe 750 miles. I have had it sitting in yard for 7 months and went out to get ready to go and noticed 2 of my hubs have sit there and leaked grease out onto the wheel. Could I have seal damage already? I have not pumped any new grease in it since I bought it. I’ve had one mechanic look at it and said put some grease in it and drive it and should be fine. Have y’all heard of this? Thanks

If you have ever added grease then it is possible that the grease you used was not compatible with the grease that was already in the hub. This can cause the grease to degrade. What I recommend is to pull the hubs off, clean out all the grease from all of the components, replace the seals, and add new grease such as # L11465. If you need a grease gun use # L30200.
Be sure to use double-lip seals. If you do not know your seal number I can figure it out if you can give me the bearing numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings.
