Front Hitch Custom Fit on 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL Rubicon

Question:
Hello, my question is whether or not this or any front mounted hitch because the draw tite and curt look different in the pictures will fit the 2018 JL rubicon model specifically? The instructions state that the metal skid plate must be removed permently and that the plastic can be trimmed and reinstalled. My concern is the clearance between the hitch and the sway bar actuator on the rubicon model, it looks like it could be in the way. I installed the curt model on a 2013 JK and I remember there not being a lot of space around it once it was in. Thanks

I reached out to my tech contact at Curt and he said the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31086 has been test fit on your specific Rubicon model and it is a confirmed fit. You will need to remove the steel skid shield permanently for this installation.
