Recommended 7-Way Wiring for 2008 Ford F350 4x4 with 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Adapter

Updated 06/20/2018 | Published 06/19/2018

Question:

I have a 1 ton Truck that has factory tow package. The previous owner was in a rear end accident and the bumper and tailgate were replaced. The 7 oin trailer female is some after market plug that is hardwired to the receiver end for trailer and a factory olug in the gray end that plugs into chassis wiring harness. I bought Curt gooseneck adapter that plugs into the factory wiring and lets you keep the bumper connector and gives you a second receptical to put in the bed for the gooseneck trailer. I am looking for a compatible wiring plug that goes from factory chassis to the bumper plug and will splice into the Curt adapter. You already helped me with my 5th wheel hitch. Thank you so much

It sounds like you just need the Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket w/ Wiring Harness and Mounting Bracket # PK11898. This will splice into your factory wiring and give you the round connector needed to install your gooseneck adapter. This kit comes with the 7-way and mounting bracket, but also comes with the pigtail and connectors you need to complete your wiring.

This will allow you to easily connect the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long # C56000.
