Question:
Im not sure how I can make sure this is something I can add myself to my brand new 2017 Jayco Precept 31UL Motorhome? It came with the standard Ford V10 with an uncovered and unprotected gas cap with no door. I believe this would make it the FORD F53 unfinished chassis that they use to build the coach upon. It appears all I would need to do is remove the perimeter screws, place this door and frame in place, and then re-screw it right back in the same holes. But I have no way to make sure of that. Can you offer any advice?

The Ultra-Fab Universal Access Door for Trailers and RVs - 5" x 5" Opening - Chrome # UF48-979010 has overall dimensions that are 8 inches wide by 7 inches tall. The best thing you can do is look at the attached diagram of screw center locations to see how they match up to your 2017 Jayco Precept motorhome.
If the holes don't match up but are a larger pattern, then you will be able to install the cover with self tapping screws like # 1131832 into the side of your motorhome.
