How Do the Ultra-Fab Stackable Stabilizing Jacks Part # UF48-979004 Work

Question:

how exactly do these stabilizer jacks work. Does on just turn the small bar until the little disk rises up to contact with the trailer frame..the disk seems so small. I had scissor type before but they were attached to the trailer, I like the fact that these are not attached, but am unsure of how they work. Thank you

The Ultra-Fab stabilizer jacks work just as you described. The jack would be placed under the trailer, and the handle is rotated until the jack makes contact with the trailer. These jacks are not meant for lifting, they are meant to support the trailer or camper while it is parked.

You would want to place the jack under a reinforced portion of the trailer. If the small size of the disk that would contact the underside of the trailer concerns you, a block of wood could always be used to provide more support.
