Compatibility of Reese Goose Box Dimensions With Ram Truck

Question:

Good morning, I currently own a 2013 RAM 2500, Crew Cab, Diesel, SWB and 64inch bed. I have the Curt EZr Double lock installed, part # C611-624. I would like to install the Reese Goose Box RP94720. I want to know if I would have the clearance of the cab needed. If not could I simply use Curt 4 Inch Offset Ball. Part C602.

For your 2013 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Short Bed, the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR is a fit as long as you don't have RamBox. I reached out to my contact at Reese to confirm and they even sent me an engineer drawing of the newer model Ram with the higher walls and shows how the Goose Box is compatible. I've attached it to assist as it gives some measurements for you as well.

The Curt EZr # C60682 is the fit for your truck and the Curt 4" Offset Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch # C602 will help with turning clearance so it is a good idea. With a short bed truck and any 5th wheel, the more turning clearance you can gain the better.
