Question:

I have a Shelby 5408B that needs replacement. While looking into it I realize it may be to light for my boat/trailer-my boat weighs 2200 lbs. Can you recommend what I should do for a similar size mount but rated for more weight?

The max rating of your Shelby 5408B is 1,900 lbs which would be more than adequate for a 2,200 lb boat as typically the ratio for winch capacity to boat weight is 2 to 1.

For a similarly rated winch we have the part # DL14627 which is rated for 1,800 lb. For a strap to use with this we have the part # DL24249.
