Question:

2012 GMC 2500 HD front hitch receiver. you show 2 different hitches, I am looking at the lowest one. 8inch lift with 37inch so I dont want to cut anymore of the front valance than I have to. I also have a black horse bull bar on the front so I may put a little extension to get past it. not looking at loading alot of weight, just need some extra room to carry things when I pull my camper, golf cart in the bed and camper hitch is usually loaded. Thanks

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31023 which is a fit for a 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 will hang down further than the other option we have for you which is the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65078 excluding Denali. This means that there will be much less trimming required to clear the lower bumper valance in order to make it work.

Please note that the above hitch is only tested on stock vehicle's without a lift or bull bar. You will need to take a look at the install instructions which I have attached for you to make sure it will not interfere with the components you already have installed.
