Updated 06/12/2018 | Published 06/09/2018 >
Question:
I had under my dash torn apart on my 2018 Buick Enclave and could not for the life of me locate the factory wires that are to be there for my break controller. Could you help me locate thes wires or give me a pic on what they look like and area to look! The vehicle has the trailer tow package but I just cannot locate any loose wires anywhere. Thank you!

According to my research, you are not alone in having a difficult time finding the factory trailer brake controller wiring on your 2018 Buick Enclave. I was able to find a tech bulletin on your Buick Enclave that describes exactly where the wiring can be located.
The blunt wires for installing a brake controller are part of the instrument panel wiring harness, and they are located under the left instrument panel, behind the front side door sill garnish molding trim. We unfortunately don't have a good picture of this yet on your Buick, but the wires should be there.
Once found, you will just need to hardwire the brake controller to those blunt cut wires. If you don't yet have the controller, I highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is an excellent proportional controller that will activate the trailer brakes at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your Buick Enclave.
