Question:
DO YOU KNOW IF THE C51180 WILL WORK ON A 2005 PORSCHE CAYENNE S? ARE THERE ANY KNOWN DIFFICULTIES WITH THE INSTALL? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Expert Reply:
As long as you have the basic lighting functions and the 12V power activate on the 7-Way connector of your 2005 Porsche Cayenne then the Curt Echo # C51180 will work just fine.
Vehicles with certain late model European tow packages may require the use of a tester # C73NR or another truck or SUV to pair the receiver and transmitter. You would only need this though if you are having troubles pairing and you don't have another vehicle to use to pair them. Aside from that you should be good to go!
Attached is a video showing how the RF is installed.
