Replacement T-Bolts for the Thule Criterium 598 Bike Rack (OEM Mini Cooper)

Question:

Hello, I have a Mini OEM rooftop bike rack. It is technically a Thule criterium rack, the only difference is that rather than mount onto crossbars using a universal clamp mount, it screws into the track of the OEM crossbars via a very large, flat, square-headed boltpictured. This is why many people fight with their mini OEM crossbars being so thick. The only thing unique to this rack from the criterium is these bolts, of which I have lost two. There is a 35mm one in the back and two 61mm bolts up front for mounting. Do you know if there is any way to replace just these bolts?

I have exactly what you need for your Thule Criterium 598 bike rack. For this you are going to want to use part # 853-6511-02 and part # 853-6511. These are the exact same bolts that your bike rack would have came with and will work as a direct replacement for you.

I called my contact at Thule to confirm this as well.

I need 853-6511-02, the 64mm long T bolt. Do you have this part available?

@Steve I am sorry but we no longer carry the 853-6511-02 T-bolt. We used to carry them, but we sold our last one early 2024 and we will not be getting more stock.
