Hey i want to tow a 21ft boat 3500 pounds and need a class three hitch but someone told me that I need to get the full bar and I was about to buy the small one

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13333 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Ram 1500 Express and will be more than capable of allowing you to pull your 3,500 lb boat as it has a 6,000 lb gross trailer weight (GTW) rating. You will not need to use a trailer hitch that attaches directly to the frame like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13374.

I have attached an install video on the above hitch for you which as you can see, is very simple and straightforward. If your Ram did not come with a trailer connector then you can add one using the Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite part # C59496which will provide you with a 4-way.
