Question:

We just upgraded from our 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee to a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee LIMITED. Not the SRT8 model We have a BX4322 Rangefinder II towbar and used the Roadmaster 1419-5 adapter that fit into the square bars maybe 1.25 square. If we purchase the 1427-1 baseplate, would it accomodate the 1419-5 adapter so we could continue to use the Rangefinder II towbar? Thanks.

Yes, the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 1427-1 for your 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee would work with the Blue Ox Rangefinder II to Roadmaster Bracket Adapter # RM-037.

You would be able to use the # RM-037 with the # 1427-1 to allow you to continue to use the Blue Ox Rangefinder II Tow Bar for flat towing your vehicle.
