Question:

I’m want to purchase the Saris bones 2 bike rack for a 2015 Honda CRV.I have read good reviews except with the loading of a woman’s bike with no cross bar.Is that a problem with that model and if so is there a solution to it?Thanks for your time on this matter.

The Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier # SA805BL is a confirmed fit for your 2015 Honda CRV. You can load a women's bike without the top rail onto this carrier, but it will not sit level unless you use a bike adapter bar. I recommend the Swagman # 64005 to create a top frame tube between the handlebars and the seat post for level transport. I've attached a video to assist.

I also recommend the Thule Passive Security strap # TH533 to secure your bike rack to your locked hatch, cable lock # e98891 to secure your bikes to the carrier, and Softride straps # SR54FR to secure the front wheel to the frame of your bikes so they don't make contact with each other or your vehicle.
