Question:

My door is around 2.25" thick. What door thickness can this handle accommodate? If not, do you feel it can be adapted with a trip to the hardware store?

In order to replace the Bargman L-200 Door Lock Set, I recommend taking a look at the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit part # 295-000019 for black, part # 295-000021 for white, or part # 295-000002 for chrome. This system has a sturdy steel construction with keyed alike options. It comes with two keys, door edge plate, strike plate, and installation hardware.

You will need to modify the cutout on your door to accept this new latch but it is currently one of the only options we have for you at this time. I have attached a review video on the above door latch for you as well.

The Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit will only fit a door up to 1-1/2" thick. Unfortunately, we do not have any options for a 2.25" thick entry door.
