How to Wire Two 6 Volt Batteries to a 12 Volt Battery

I have 2 6 volt batteries and 1 12 volt battery and I want to combine them for my rv12 volt system

I attached a picture that shows how to run batteries in both series and parallel. You will need to wire up the two 6 volt batteries like the picture on the left so that they would be in series and at 12 volts.
To connect a 12 volt battery to that circuit you would need to run the positive post of the 12 volt battery to the positive side of the battery run on the in series batteries. Not the one that is connecting the two batteries, the one that would be the output of the two in-series batteries. The same goes for the negative side.

With 2-12v batts connected in parallel as in the illustration, can I take a third 12v battery and connect its Neg (-) terminal to the Pos(+) side of the 2-12v batt bank to create 24v between the Neg(-) and Pos(+) terminal of the third battery? It seems to make sense in my mind, but could use expert opinion. I want 24v to power several cabin devices. This is in an SUV. And if this works, what DC-DC charger can I use to charge all the cabin batteries (3 - 12v batts total)?
