Question:

I have a 2019 Cherokee and looking for a trailer hitch This unit appears to be a no cut insulation meaning no cutting for the plastic bumper. However this unit also has the move your foot under the rear bumper and the tailgate will go up or down will your hitch effect this option ?

Anytime a hitch is installed, such as the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13171 that fits your 2019 Jeep Cherokee, there is the possibility that it could affect the hands-free liftgate. This means the functionality could be lost, but many times it simply means you only need to kick your foot on either side of the receiver for it to work.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56406 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
