So the Curt front hitch # C31014 has a line pull rating of 9,000 lbs and a trailer towing capacity of 5,000 lbs.
So it can pull 9,000 lbs safely, but since trailers can be towed on inclines with other factors involved the capacity for moving a trailer is lower at 5,000 lbs.
