Question:
Jayco j-flight 2008 Trailer label shows 65 lbs pressure Tire stamped pressure 65, Should fill to 65 or under since the trailer is not at max weight.

Expert Reply:
You should always inflate trailer tires to their max psi when filled cold regardless of the weight on your trailer. Trailer tires are designed to be run at their max psi and may have issues like uneven tread or blowout if not run at that level. When it comes to which psi rating to follow regarding frame label or tire, always default to what is listed on the tire itself as they may not be the original tires sold with the trailer from the manufacturer.
