Question:

Do you make an adapter so that a BandW companion 5th wheel hitch will fit the 2017 Ram 3500 factory slots. I have a bandw hitch that I used, but the anchor is square, not round.

It sounds like you have the B&W Companion fifth wheel hitch, part # BWRVK3500, that fits into the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch.

There isn't an adapter to make the square gooseneck shank fit into the round factory gooseneck hole on your new 2017 Ram 3500 but we do have something that'll work for you.

Instead you can keep the head of your current hitch and replace the base with either part # BWRVB3600 for the fixed legs or part # BWRVB3670 for the slider. The bases fit into the factory pucks that you should also have in your Ram to go along with the gooseneck hole.

If your Ram is a long bed the fixed legs are what you need. If you have the short bed you might need the slider. The slider creates more clearance for short bed trucks when you need to make a sharp turn. If you have a short bed you may not need a slider if the trailer has a Revolution or Sidewinder pin box, or if it has a tapered front end. But if not you're better off with a sliding fifth wheel hitch.
