Roof Rack for 2016 Ford F-150 SuperCab for Fishing Rod Carrier and SUP Carrier

Question:

Hi. I’m looking for roof bars for my 2016 Ford F-150 super cab I wanted to know if a Thule ski rack can mount to it as well. I use this to transport my fishing rods. And would this also be able to handle two standup paddle boards. Thank you.

We can get you everything you need to add a roof rack and transport your fishing rods and stand-up paddleboards on a 2016 Ford F-150 SuperCab, though there is not an all-in-one carrier designed to be used with both.

For a roof rack I recommend the Rhino Rack Vortex, which consists of load bars # RRVA150B-2 (Black) or # RRVA150S-2 (Silver), 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA and Custom DK Fit Kit # DK427. These aero crossbars with rubberized vortex strips will give you a supremely quiet ride and the 3-1/8" wide x 1-3/16" tall bars will mount many accessories, and if you have a ski carrier from Thule such as the SnowPack # TH7326 it will work on these bars. If you need a rack that is designed for both skis and fishing rods, I highly recommend checking out the Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier # RR572. This carrier can haul 2 skis or 4 fishing rods, is locking to secure your rods to the carrier, and opens easily with the push of a button.

To transport your SUPs you would need a different carrier, and a great choice would be the Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier # LR54FR, which will carry up to 2 SUPs and is adjustable to fit the size of your board. I've added a link to a video review of this carrier for you to check out.
