Tell me how to find where to plug in aftermarket brake harness.

Expert Reply:
A wiring adapter like the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, Item # 3034-P, plugs into the connector behind the vehicle's dashboard. To reach the connector, first locate the notch in the access panel in the center of the dash, near the passenger side. Use a trim panel tool like Item # ALL648544 to carefully pry the panel off. The mating connector will be behind this part of the dashboard.
I have attached a picture and an install video for a brake controller on a 2008 Ford F-350 for you to check out.
