When you’re hauling serious weight, your suspension parts need to work together without flex or shift. This tandem-axle equalizer kit uses 24-3/4" long left- and right-hand equalizers that keep the axles balanced and the ride steady. It’s built for heavy-duty 10,000-lb to 15,000-lb Dexter axles, giving the setup strength you can count on mile after mile.
Loose or undersized hardware can wear out the suspension fast. This kit includes properly matched hardware—6" long x 1-1/8" diameter equalizer bolts, 5-1/2" long x 1" diameter spring-eye bolts, and 4-1/2" long x 1/2" diameter spring keeper bolts, each with their corresponding locknuts. The sizing ensures tight, clean connections that let the suspension pivot freely without slop or noise.
Getting axle spacing right is key to smooth tracking and even tire wear. The (2) 4-1/8" tall center hangers have 1-1/8" bolt holes and are designed for 48-1/2" spacing between axles. When paired with the HAP-103-00 kit, the layout locks in precise distances—38-1/3" between front and center hangers and 37-7/10" between center and rear hangers—so the suspension geometry stays true and predictable.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Dexter tandem axle trailer equalizer kit. Now this kit includes the equalizers, the bolts and the center hangers for attaching four three inch slipper leaf springs to your trailer frame with 10,000 pound to 15,000 pound heavy duty Dexter axles. Now you can use this with the kit number that I have there for you on your screen and that kit on your screen includes the front and rear hangers and the mounting hardware necessary for a complete tandem axle kit. So if you are in need of that kit as well you can take that item number that you see there on your screen and put it in the search field of our website and that will take you to it. Now this kit includes everything that you see here on the table before me.
You're going to receive first of all two four and one eighth inch tall center hangers with one and one eighth inch bolt holes is just to show you where we get the height of those hangers how we measure them. In case you are unaware of that, you just line up your ruler or tape measure there at the center of the bolt hole measuring all the way to the top. And let me see if I can hold that steady. And as you can see, that's where we get our four and one eighth tall measurement on these two center hangers. And then you're also going to get one left and right hand equalizers and these equalizers are going to allow for 48 and a half inches between your axles and these equalizers themselves, their length they measure right at 24 and three quarters inches long.
So I just want to confirm that they're with you. So as you can see, 24 and three quarter inches long on both of these equalizers. And again, they are going to allow for 48 and a half inches between your axles. And then you're going to receive two four and a half inch long by half inch diameter spring keeper bolts with two half inch in diameter lock nuts that I have attached to the bolts. And then two five and a half inch long by one inch in diameter spring eye bolts with two inch in diameter lock nuts that I have attached.
And then finally two six inch long by one and one eighth inch in diameter equalizer bolts with two one and one eighth inch in diameter lock nuts. Instructions are included with this kit to walk you through the installation process, and I do wanna point out that this does not include the components for mounting axles to springs. The kit is pretty complete. I had to purchase the bushings for the spring eyes. Overall I'm happy with the kit.
Great price for the money. I had to cut these but for the price that’s was I was planning for. I had an odd 11.5 length so overes bigger and cut to size.
Just as needed
This particular part was the most perfect part for my application and it works like a million bucks!!!!
Didn’t not work with my cam super line trailer. Bolts were not the right diameter for the front of the spring, the wet bolt isn’t stated to have a locking square sink on it so it doesn’t sit flush. Rear small bolt worked just fine, ubolt plates didn’t fit the bottom of my springs even tho they were stated to be for my size spring of 2”. I would triple check everything on your trailer before ordering. Will be returning my second set I bought to do my other trailer as well and be souring parts elsewhere.
