Question:
Installed on a 2014 F-150 EcoBoost just like in the video. Lights on truck work fine when not connected to the Motor Home with the loom installed. I have power coming from my motor home but nothing working on the truck. I powered the individual wires at the plug and still no lights of any kind at the rear of the truck. I connected my test light on the + battery side and connect to my trailer white ground and it lights up, so I know I have a good ground. Any other ideas of what could be wrong. I bought this awhile ago and just installed it as my Motor Home was in the body shop. I also tested it connecting to my son F-350 truck with the same results.

Since you know you have a good ground what you need to do is use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 and test harness # HM56000 individually for function when not connected to your truck. Doing this will let you know if there is an issue with the converter or not; if there is an issue then you have a faulty converter and you will need a replacement. This is uncommon but happens on rare occasion.
