For your 2018 Honda HR-V the hitch I would recommend is the Curt part # C11416 which is a confirmed fit and would work well. IIf you use this hitch for a non-towing application like a bike rack or cargo carrier, you will need the stabilizer strap # 18050. This is required by Curt.

For trailer wiring you'd then want the # 118673 which is a confirmed fit and our most reliable option.

For a ball mount you'd want the part # 3593, 2 inch hitch ball part # 19258, or 1-7/8 inch # 19256.
