Question:
Hello - I have a 2018 Forester and would like to install a hitch that will fit my existing Thule T2 bike rack and also be flexible for other uses. Heres the type of Thule I have; thule-t2-classic Im open to getting a different bike rack if thats the best answer. Id like a hitch that provides flexibility for the type of accessories that I can use. On my last Forester I had the dealer install the factory hitch and it had major restrictions on what accessories actually worked with the hitch. That was a pain that Id like to avoid.

Since the Thule T2 Classic TH9044 fit a 2 inch hitch and the TH9045 fit a 1-1/4 inch hitch you may be in need of either size since you didn't mention what you have.
If you need a 2 inch hitch you'd want the part # 75876 for your 2018 Subaru Forester, or part # 36523 for if you need a 1-1/4 inch hitch.
