Hello, Running wire to the battery seams like the hardest part to do. Do you know what is the best way, where the openings in the body of the Atlas are etc.

Running the power wire to the battery for a trailer wiring harness such as # 118754 for your 2018 Volkswagen Atlas isn't actually all that difficult. It just takes time. While I do not know specifically where you would need to route the wiring on the Atlas there are some common methods for running a power wire.
