Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Bikes with Fenders Similar to Kuat Transfer

Question:

Hi, Really like the look, style and price point of the Kuat Transfer2. One of our bikes has fenders. Have you heard off, or know if you can use it on a bike with fenders. Since will be mounting to a Class 1 hitch on a Honda Fit, somewhat constrained in terms of rack choices, but dont want to break the bank.

For bikes with fenders there really isn't a way to use a bike like the Kuat Transfer part # KU74FR that uses wheel mounts. Instead you'd have to go with a bike rack that grabs the bike by the frame like the Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT # TH92BJ.

This is a very nice rack that's about the same price that will work well for you. It's lighter in weight too at 35 lb.
