What is the Modern Equivalent of a 6.50x16 Trailer Tire

Hi I was interested in getting tires for my trailer...the ones on there are the old tube ones 6.50 - 16 I was wondering if you could tell me what the equivalent to a modern day tire would be..any help would be very greatly appreciated ..thank you for your time

There is not really an exact modern equivalent to a 6.50x16 tire. A 6.50x16 tire measures to be 6.5" wide. The closest tire size we have to that is a 7.50x16 which measures to be 7.5" wide. Therefore, a 7.50x16 tire will be 1" wider than a 6.50x16 tire.

For this, I recommend using the Kenda Light Truck Tire K391M part # AM10430 which fits a 16" diameter x 6" wide wheel, has a 3,197 lb per tire capacity, and come with a 2-year warranty. As long as you have a 6" wide wheel and an additional .5" of space between your existing tire and frame then this option should work well for you.
