If you have a long bed 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD then a gooseneck hitch is a viable option. If instead you have a short bed the fifth wheel setup is the way to go as this route allows options to give a short bed truck turning clearance.
So for a gooseneck hitch we have the Curt part # C60712 which is a confirmed fit and would work well.
If you need a short bed solution the Pro Series Slider Hitch part # PS30121 with the fifth wheel rail kit part # RP30035 would be a great option that is the most cost effective.
