Question:

I have a Jayco travel trailer with a 14,000# GCW rated a-frame style coupler with a 2-5/16 inch ball. The flange width around the lower edge of the ball socket measures just under 4 inch wide at the bottom of the opening. Will this Master trailer coupler lock fit this trailer coupler? Thank you for any information that you may be able to provide before I make a purchasing decision.

We do have some options for you but the Master Lock Trailer Coupler Lock # ML389DAT that you referenced has a max coupler width of 3-1/4" so your coupler will be a little too big for it.

For a coupler lock that can accommodate a 4" wide coupler you could use the Fastway Universal Coupler Lock - # DT25013KA or the etrailer.com Coupler Lock - # e98895.
